While we've been serving pastries and toast to our guests with their morning coffee for quite some time, local visitors who pop-in said they'd love some morning commute options for example... oh we don't know... A REALLY GOOD BACON SANDWICH.
Our breakfast menu is under-wraps for now, March is our launch date for breakfast service at Green Rooms but if you're lucky we may bring service forwards into mid February. So keep an eye on our social media and keep your noses fine-tuned.
And YES, there WILL be avacados on toast somewhere on the menu - fear not Wood Greeners, and prepare for the best bacon sandwiches this side of Hanover Square.

2018 Food Trend: West African Cuisine
Our next restaurant here at Green Rooms, as part of our revolving residency scheme, is Tokunbo's Kitchen. Global food trend consultancy firm, The Food People, estimates dishes from countries like Senegal and Nigeria could be the next big food trend and the "last great untapped cuisine" and so BBC Africa came and interviewed head chef Tokunbo Koiki.
The video has already racked up 190,000 views and so we're delighted to have Tokunbo all to ourselves when she opens on January 15th here serving dinner and lunch from Sundays through until Thursdays.
Watch the video here, and we'll be posting our new menu and restaurant info shortly.

Italians Do It Better!
This December we're delighted to house Italian chef Dan Fazzina and his Tuscan street food restaurant BISTECCA E PANE, the fourth dynamic restaurant to take up the hobs here at Green Rooms Hotel - keeping Wood Green fresh and aflame on the capital's vibrant culinary map.
This contemporary take on classic Italian dishes will see a variety of tastes coming to tables at Green Rooms - from Dan's already celebrated towering Tuscan sarnies, to bold pasta dishes (wild mushrooms, white wine sauce and Dan's secret tomato sauce!) as well as some exciting light bites (you must try the garlic sourdough!) and some winter warmers too such as Dan's simple yet irresistible minestrone soup.
See the FULL MENU HERE and make a date with us for a taste of Tuscany this December. You can walk in or ring up in advance to book a table. More on Dan later, but for now the secret is out - our best advise is to pencil us in your diary and discover BISTECCA E PANE for yourselves.
Final Chance To Go Greek!
This Saturday is the last day at Green Rooms for our Greek pop-up I Should Be Souvlaki.
Head chef Chris Caudle and his team enjoyed a marvellous three months here and quickly became a hot spot on the North London foodie map, building a dedicated following of lunch time commuters and local evening diners alike. Our hotel guests also enjoyed the tantalising Greek Grill, bringing something special to their London visit, and Chris even catered upon request for some big special events here - including a team of American oil painters who had group meals prepared each evening for a two week stay.
We look forward to watching I Should Be Souvlaki make their next steps, we will be staying in touch with them - with a view to work again together maybe on some outdoor summer vents - and we will keep you updated. You can follow them on Instagram @ISBSouvlaki and Twitter @ISBSouvlaki
In the meantime - You have three days left to go Greek with us! So pop in for lunch tomorrow or dinner this weekend.

Become Become's London residency in collaboration with Green Rooms and Arebyte Gallery works with the theme of The Hidden, the Mysteries, and the selected projects reflect a search for the subtle and often unseen or hidden realities of daily life. Embracing transdisciplinarity, broad thematic influences and an open-source model of knowledge creation, the 10-day programme in London builds upon previous residencies and brings together 12 artists from 9 countries. These include academics and established practitioners in the fields of painting, photography, video, photography, sculpture, architecture, music and art curation.
Becomebecome is a non-profit that uniquely merges exhibitions, creative incubators and immersion in local art communities into flexible, nomadic residencies taking place across the world. Started by an international team of artist and researchers with a hub in Barcelona, Becomebecome asked one simple question: How can we transform the practice of creatives and researchers by putting them into a radically open dialogue with practitioners from diverse fields and different parts of the world?
