This month the School for Social Entrepreneurs will lead a workshop discussing how to sustain and grow a social enterprise in Wood Green.

Come and join us for a world cafe style event with the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
Supported by Haringey Council and Noel Park Big Local, School for Social Entrepreneurs will run a workshop to find out more about:

  • What the current issues are facing this community
  • What's already been done to tackle these issues
  • What extra support could be provided to help you sustain and grow your social enterprise

Find out more about what the School for Social Entrepreneurs does to support entrepreneurs across London.

Give your input on what you think needs to be done to provide more support to social entrepreneurs working across Haringey.

This session will be facilitated by Learning Managers from the School for Social Entrepreneurs and will feature time for networking, and a talk from a successful local social entrepreneur.

PIGEONS - Johnny White Really-Really

TUESDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER, 9PM-10PM - [Resident's Lounge]

Pigeons is writer and arthouse filmmaker Johnny White's debut stand-up show in which the big questions (life, death, stag do angst) are bravely tackled and bravely abandoned. Lengthy imaginings about James Nesbitt snuggle up against tall tales of magic mirrors. There are also some more run-of-the-mill jokes about supermarkets and that kind of carry-on.

Fest Mag writes: "This is his Fringe debut, and in its detail it evidences real comic craft, and an authentic and novel voice. There's a spectacularly nasty sequence that literalises the fear that friends don't have your best interests at heart. It's rare to see a comedian seem to enjoy so much the pleasure he's giving to his audience"

'Watching this show is like having a very good dream' (Liam Williams)

'Our new favourite comedian' - VICE UK

Restaurant:

Seeing this show at 9pm? Why not make a reservation beforehand in our Greek Grill "I Should Be Souvlaki" - The pre-show dinner deal offers a warm souvlaki wrap, indulgent feta fries and a soft drink for just £8. More info on our restaurant here

Supper Club: Pop's Kitchen

Inspired by our Cuban jaunt at the end of last year, Pop's is bringing you a pina colada themed menu inspired by the drink that kept us refreshed when there. We're going to transform Green Rooms into a Latin Caribbean haven, come and bring the long weekend in vibrantly.

A Pina Colada welcome cocktail, a starter of softened goats cheese with black peppercorns and mango bruschetta. We're bringing our lightly fried hake marinated overnight in Caribbean green sauce on a bed of coconut rice with spiced garlic callaloo for the main. We'll then finish the evening off with some gorgeous Pina Colada panna cotta.
